Lappi-cup

Last weekend the annual Lappi-cup took place in Rovaniemi. This was the third competition of this year, which means that the competition in Tampere was the second (not the first one as I claimed last time). Now that you know about my unconscious lying I suppose I could tell you something about this competition.

We ( including me, Elias and Joonas ) travelled to Rovaniemi by train. We started from Turku on Friday night and arrived in Rovaniemi the next morning. Luckily we had an own “cabin” with three beds so we could sleep throughout the night (or at least try to). In Rovaniemi they had a new cave with nice new walls. The routes were also nice, though not so hard, except for one route in the finals.
So the routes were nice but believe me, the prizes were even nicer. When everyone had got something they still had a lot of stuff left so they started a new round until there was nothing left.

On the way back we only had a cabin with two beds but I had won a pad so we thought one of us could sleep on it. Unfortunately the cabin was so small, and the pad so big, that there was no space to open it, so poor Joonas ended up sleeping on the floor.

The next competition is in Konala and it actually takes place tomorrow ( by the time you read this it is probably over ) and Ilari will later write something about it.
